Frequently Asked Questions

What metals can be reused?

Yellow gold and some rose gold alloys can be reused for casting. White gold needs to be refined but can be used towards the credit of a new piece. Some limited designs are available for fabricating heirloom platinum, but mostly can be used towards credit of a new piece.

Can you create with client’s gemstones?

Yes, we can create with gemstones that you already have. There is a $500 fee for measuring, testing, adjusting, and handling any client’s gemstones, charged once per project (or group of projects done at the same time).

Do you work with lab diamonds?

Yes, we care about making jewelry that resonates best for you. If that’s lab diamonds, we are in! We source from lab diamond companies that we feel uphold our sustainability and ethics standards for creation, cutting, and polishing.

How does the engagement process work?

We tailor the engagement process to you, but many fall into a general pattern. We first work together with you to figure out general designs and preferences. We then source the stone(s) needed for the project and start to refine the design. Once the stones are decided, we use CAD, drawings and pictures to give an understanding of the final piece.

How long does it take to make a piece?

Each project’s timeline is as unique as the project itself, though most are completed in 8-12 weeks. Shorter timelines are possible for certain designs or requests, please reach out to coordinate.

Returns and exchanges:

Ready made items can be returned or exchanged for 30 days if unused and unworn. Made-to-order collection pieces can be exchanged for store credit. Final sale on custom projects, including ready-made or made-to-order pieces with custom engravings or custom sourced stones.
